The Taipei AMPA 2019 6-in-1 Show, organized by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), will be held April 24 to 27 (Taipei AMPA, AutoTronics Taipei, Taiwan ITS, Taiwan EVS) and April 25 to 28 (Taiwan Motorcycle and Taiwan Car Tuning) at TaiNEX 1 and TaiNEX 2. Taipei AMPA is the second largest show for aftermarket auto parts and the most important one-stop auto parts sourcing platform in Asia. The six shows include a total of 1,340 exhibitors occupying 3,750 booths, and are expected to attract over 7,000 international visitors. The scale of this year’s show surpasses all others.

The exhibition presents the complete supply chain of Taiwan's automotive industry. Iconic local manufacturers will attend, including Sonar, TW Racing, Depo, Tong Yang, Nan Hoang and Fukuta. These manufacturers all have supported Taipei AMPA for many years. Major manufacturers such as Mobiletron Electronics, XING Mobility, Jet Opto, MiTAC Digital, and Kai Suh Suh will attend AutoTronics Taipei. Also, more smart technology solution providers will join the Taiwan ITS and Taiwan EVS, including self-driving bus manufacturer 7StarLake, ETC smart toll collection system provider FETC International and smart charging-station developer Noodoe. Major motorcycle manufacturers, including BMW, MAGURA, NCY and Yih Jing will showcase heavy-duty motorcycles and a range of spare parts; Weituo, Dynamo and SUNQ RV will exhibit at the Taiwan Car Tuning. The shows will feature a total of 171 foreign exhibitors from 14 countries or regions, including the United States, Japan, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, India, China, Hong Kong, South Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines and Slovenia.

TAITRA President & CEO Walter Yeh stated that 80% of Taiwan’s auto parts suppliers are mainly in the export business, and the global market is currently weak. In 2018, the export value of Taiwan’s auto parts and accessories nevertheless showed excellent performance at US$7 billion. Taiwan’s widely recognized manufacturing strength, paired with the country’s unrivaled IT and communications industry, self-driving vehicles, smart charging stations, smart parking systems and other solutions, is creating huge business opportunities. ‘Electronization,’ ‘motorization’ and ‘intelligentization’ are the main axes of this exhibition.

To maximize the benefits to exhibitors and help expand worldwide business opportunities, the overseas units of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and TAITRA invited more than 50 heavyweight international buyers to visit and place orders at this year’s show, including Paaschburg & Wunderlich, the largest motorcycle dealer in Germany; Piaggio, the largest motorcycle manufacturer in Italy and the fourth-largest in the world; Ashok Leyland, India’s second-largest commercial vehicle manufacturer; Mahindra & Mahindra, India’s only electric vehicle manufacturer; and Geevers, the largest auto parts dealer in the Benelux countries. These important buyers will participate in 370 one-on-one procurement meetings to provide Taiwanese exhibitors with the most efficient business matchmaking opportunities.

In addition to product showcases, three major professional forum and seminars, held from April 24 to 26 also highlight the exhibition: the Tech Taipei-IoV Seminar; the Global Smart Mobility Trend Forum; and the Tech Taipei-EV Seminar. For the more than 20 sessions planned, TAITRA invited such global manufacturers as Nvidia, Texas Instruments, Microsoft, Renesas, Toshiba, XING Mobility, and Noodoe to share technology development and smart application trends in self-driving, IoV, ADAS and V2X applications, electric vehicles and more, making this the best platform to gauge the pulse of industrial development in these sectors. In addition to professional events, four lectures are planned for general consumers, and many vehicle industry experts are invited to share beginner tips for tuning and for heavy-duty motorcycles. The exhibition will also feature a motorcycle fashion show to stimulate buying.

During the five days of the Taipei AMPA 6-in-1 show, local and foreign insiders are welcome to visit with free admission via business cards. On April 27 and 28, the general public may purchase tickets to attend the Taiwan Motorcycle and Taiwan Car Tuning shows.
